Whiterock Quarry Barely There Calendar 🐄🫏🦙

Reaching the halfway point of our five year veterinary degree is a big milestone, and every year the third year vet students celebrate with a special “Halfway Day” event. It is a chance for our class to come together, take a well earned break, and mark just how far we have come on our journey to becoming veterinarians.

To help make this event possible, we have launched a series of fundraising projects, including the iconic “Barely There” Calendar.

This light hearted, cheeky, and tasteful calendar showcases our vet students in rural and animal themed settings. While playfully known as a “naked” calendar, every photo is carefully staged and strategically covered, keeping it fun, classy, and confidence boosting. More than just a fundraiser, the calendar celebrates body positivity, self expression, and our strong connection to the rural community.

And because we want our efforts to give back, 10% of all profits will be donated to the Rural Support Trust, a charity that provides essential assistance to farmers and rural communities across New Zealand. Supporting this project means not only helping our class celebrate a once in a lifetime milestone, but also making a meaningful difference for rural people who support us all.

Giving back to rural communities

We donate 10% of all profits to the Rural Support Trust — helping farmers and rural communities through tough times across Aotearoa.

Sometimes you need to chat with someone who gets your issues, someone who’s been there before. Rural Support Trusts have local, rural people who know from experience that pressures can mount up. Our networks and training can help with all kinds of situations, and help you get through your current challenges.

Rural Support provides one-on-one peer support to farmers and growers at a place that suits you, wellbeing and connection events for rural communities, and support in the response and recovery to adverse events. For a free confidential chat, phone 0800 787 254.
